    I am inquiring for my mother who will turn 78 next month. She is a widower with a paid off mortgage, I would say that her house would appraise somewhere around 200k. She is currently struggling with a social security benefit of $1150 a month. My worry is if there are repairs that arrise to her home. We live over on the western slope of Colorado in a town called Delta. That is also where her home is located. Can you give me a little more detail of how much closing cost are and interest rates for something like this. How much money would she be able to gain from a reverse mortgage?   5. I think I am going to need legal help reversing this terrible reverse mortgage we are stuck with.
    It was not done right from the beginning and soon it will start eroding our equity. We never benefited from it.
    We were told there would be a check at closing. No check. (They sent a Notary to our home to do the closing)
    We were told we would get cash flow from it. No cash flow either.
    We would like to sit with you and see if there can be anything done.

  7. My wife passed 2/5/2018, the mortgage was in her name. We got the reverse mortgage around 2002 or 2004. I understand that I have to move out of our home in 3 months. I was married to her for over 55 years. I am 85 years old and would like to stay in our home. I live near Estes Park, close to Loveland CO.

  9. Jan , I am moving to Loveland in a couple of months. I have a reverse mortgage on my home in Az. My home is going on the market in two weeks. I will need a RM to purchase a home in Loveland. My Aag advisor said I can get pre approved contingent on my AZ RM being paid off. How do I start the process so I can make an offer as soon as my house sells? Donna
